Dealing with annoying facial and body hair is a concern for a lot of women especially if your from the middle east. It's a struggle to fit into what society demands as the perfect body image, without any flaws. My struggle with hair removal has been like a roller coaster ride going up and down hill. Trying different techniques to see what works and what doesn't. Believe me when I say I've left no stone unturned in my quest to get rid of facial hair.
Throughout my trials I can say I've finally come to something that works for me and has been a great success. At first I was a bit wary if this remedy would really work. I mean I've tried so many things and the fact that this gives permanent results in a matter of months was a bit astonishing.
However after trying this remedy for a good month and a half I can say that it really works. What I've used in battling my facial hair problem is an ancient Ayurveda remedy which consists of using Thanaka powder and Kasumba oil (safflower oil) which are readily available on amazon if you can't find them in your local herbal shops.
Now the way I've used this remedy is I make the paste fresh every time I use it so I know it hasn't been sitting there a couple days. It's not hard to make at all, I just take one tablespoon of the Thanaka powder and same amount of Kasumba (safflower) oil and mix it together to form a paste that isn't too runny or thick of a consistency ( basically you want it to be like a lotion or cream consistency). After making the paste you have to rub it onto the freshly waxed or threaded skin for 5 minutes and leave it on overnight (for best results) or minimum of 3 hours. If you don't want to wax or thread the area before hand the results will not work as quickly and it may take time for your hair to stop growing. The remedy says you have to apply this paste for 3 months before your hair will stop growing.
Basically what this remedy does is once you've completely removed the hair follicle, it's easier for the paste to go deep into your pores and over time it starts to weaken your hair root so the hair grows thinner and thinner with each growth cycle. Eventually the hair will stop growing and just fall out. It may take up to 3 months or longer depending on your hair thickness, for example if your hair is thicker you might want to apply a thicker amount of paste for a little more over than 3 months until you start seeing results. Results are going to vary from person to person. What may take an average of 3 months for someone might take up to 5 or 6 for another. So you just have to be patient and consistent with this remedy. There's no over night miracle! Don't give up hope guys! You can do this, just hang in there!
I started seeing results after 3 weeks of using this paste, I noticed my hair came back slower and wasn't as thick as it used to be. The paste was working and starting to thin out my hair root. Let me just say how relieved I was to finally have found something that actually worked and was completely natural and contained no side effects. I seriously was so thankful and wondered why I had not come across this before! Now since I'm halfway into my experience I will update you guys soon and let you know the full results.
Also I just wanted to share some tips and tricks that I used which I believe will help you guys as well. Now since we all know that if your pores are open what ever we apply will absorb faster, I usually steamed my face over a pan of boiling hot water and covered my head with a towel for about 15 minutes. Then I would apply the paste! Now if you don't have time to do that, you could just blow dry your face with the blow dryer for about 2-5 minutes. You just want to open up your pores so it works great! You could use the blow dryer to set your makeup after wards for 2 minutes too, it gives you that air brushed look! That's what I do sometimes, I swear it works!
